Phantasy Star Online 2 - The Road to Playable

The localization is a mess -- a litany of PSO2 Meseta spelling errors and curious title changes. The awkward dialogue is more than a few can deal with, although their best do try. I have been told that the chapters are still an improvement, but what is here isn't pleasurable. The narrative is worth engaging with if you want to unlock more NPCs. Otherwise watch the Phantasy Star anime instead and it is ideal to skip it. The American version of Phantasy Star Online 2 released to what many expected to be a playable launch based on the success of the Xbox One version. On the dismay of everyone involved, SEGA and Microsoft included, Phantasy Star Online 2 was hardly playable, and had so many different issues, it was hard to fathom how the Microsoft Store edition of PSO2 squeaked by with no, at the least, an open beta. Be prepared for a tale of my experience, from the PC preload we expected. For those that have adopted MMORPG's coverage of PSO2, you'd likely be acquainted with my experiences on XBOX One to this stage. Needless to say, performance left much to be wanted, so the day of May 26th, when the preload of Phantasy Star Online 2 became available late in the evening, I was poised and ready to get Phantasy Star Online 2 wealthy, and jump in immediately on launching. Next, like a surprise Falspawn assault, the issues appeared in enigmatic and confusing ways. I preloaded Phantasy Star Online 2I was able to get in with no difficulties. Then came the unplayable lag in the lobby. The lag was horrendous, I could hardly move, it had been like I played a slideshow. Thinking this has to be due day anxieties to launch found the lag cleared once I entered a mission, and chose to remain restricted to the gateway boats assignment terminal for the remainder of my play time. Two days later, with issues in sight, I attempted to begin Phantasy Star Online 2. Rather than Phantasy Star Online 2 actually beginning, a tiny white bar appeared underneath the PSO2 icon. At the time I didn't know what the problem was, so I restarted the PC, reinstalled Phantasy Star Online 2, and was off and running again, until the issues with unrecoverable space began. Deleting the folder, and the additional folders then locked by system and found in different folders or trusted installer permissions was not just annoying, it was time consuming. As most well understand at this time, the Microsoft Store is the principal reason behind the problem associated with Phantasy Star Online 2 no longer working, even after successful installs. Fixes in the community were recommended to bypass the launcher, or utilize PSO2 Tweaker to get Phantasy Star Online 2 running more reliably and easily, but even with PSO2 Tweaker, the issues were still hit and pso2 sales miss. Many users found that PSO2 Tweaker simply added another degree of issues.
